Here is a picture I took this morning at 8:32 am. It is an ancient maple, right outside my door. This will be my focal point for the storm. The snow on the ground, from a previous storm, is about 3 inches deep. Our snow blower threw snow on the side of the tree. This snow is approximately 3 feet from the ground.
That is it for now. We shall see what the day brings.

It looks like my husband is going to be stuck there. He's working in NYC, staying across the bridge in NJ. He left work early and it took over 3 hours for him to get "home" on the bus. He's supposed to fly home (to California) tomorrow but flights are already being cancelled.
Where's the AFTER shot? Are you still digging your way out?!
It looks like it's bringing snow. And mabye a little cold? Pretty!
Maple tree? Maple syrup?
Bev- over here, we're trapped in the house for over a week. Wooly is yelling, "snow snow go AWAY! come again some other DECADE!!"
It's only suppose to snow in the mountains around here! We've only had a 'white xmas' 10 times since 1891! m :)
