On a Scale of 1 to 10...9.5

Today was a really good mail day. Last Friday, I think it was anyway, I ordered a few patterns from The Yarn Grove They got here so fast! Unbelievably fast!

What did I order, you ask. I have been itching to knit some baby items for Hija Primera's first child, due in July. A few years ago, when I first saw this pattern, I wanted to make it so badly that I haven't been able to get it out of my mind. So cute! And, while looking at the pattern offerings at The Grove, I came across this little baby blanket. Now they are both in my possession and the yarn must be ordered! Stat!

I have decided on the Longmeadow yarn from Webs for the JellyBean suit. For the Blanket, I am going to use Knit Picks Crayon yarn for the blankie because it is so soft and cuddly, like a teddy bear.

Now, not to be the sort of person that thinks only of the little ones, I purchased another fun pattern for the big girls. This one by Bev Galeskas for a pair of Alpine Boot Slippers. These may turn out to be Christmas gift for the coming season. Just love the tacky fun fur. Should make everyone happy.

Yes, today was a great mail day. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would have to give it a 9.5. Why not a 10? Cuz the mailman didn't see fit to gift me the yarn with which to make any of the patterns!
